This is an original cast iron cylinder head with valves for an Alamo, Rock Island, Empire, Cockshutt, or other Alamo-built hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The head has a part number of 5948. The head is about 7 inches in diameter and mounts with 4 holes on a 4 1/4 inch square bolt pattern. I would say this is for about a 4-5 hp engines. If you know what size it fits please educate me. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The valves are both in it and look like they are usable but the intake valve is bent a bit and will need some attention. They both move but are a bit stiff. There appears to be very little wear on the faces of the valves or in the guides. The setscrew for the mixer moves as it should. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. FUEL PUMP for a ALAMO WALKING BEAM Hit and Miss Old Gas Engine

Here is an original fuel pump for an early Alamo engine. I think this will fit most walking beam style engine and also may fit vertical engine. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. Is difficult to read. Mounts to the engine with 2 holes about 2 apart on center. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Igniter trip assembly for hit miss engine, tractor, auto. Igniter trip assembly is in good condition and ready to use. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can find. Pretty sure this is for Alamo, Rock Island, Empire engines. Fits a 1/2 push rod. Has the advance/retard lever. Just the piece you need to complete your project or have an extra around. “A S IS” due to age. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I have it and haven’t gotten around to it yet so just check with me. Like I said I have done this a long time and try to list everything accurately to explain all the good and the bad. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper, I won’t take it back. This is an original cast iron piston and rod for an Alamo, Rock Island, Empire, Cockshutt, or other Alamo-built hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The rod has a part number of 5943. The piston is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the center to center from the wrist pin to the crankshaft journal is about 15 inches. I would say this is for about a 4-5 hp engines. If you know what size it fits please educate me. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The babbitt bearing looks to be in good shape as well. The wrist pin moves but is very stiff. The original rings are in it and may be usable but I’ll leave that up to the new owner. The rod cap is on it as well. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! Lindsay Alamo This engine was restored over 15 years ago. The paint is an automotive paint that is resistant to gas and oil; it shines up really nice. There are a few chips in the paint on the flywheels and minimal peeling on the base near the skids. I made a new gas tank and hardwood skids last year. There were two old weld repairs that I remember. One on the head rocker arm mount and one on the governor arm. It’s a good running engine that should need only minor adjustment.
