For parts or restore. Adjusted knob has a “slight bend” to it. Threads are 1/2 NPT, threads look usable however the part of them are slightly smashed an aren’t as sharp as they once were. Vintage hit miss engine oiler in very good condition. This oiler has raised lettering in the glass. The mounting threads are 3/8 inch NPT. The oiler measures about 5 1/2 inches tall. Both top and bottom glass are nice. Has the vent tube and check ball for blowback on cylinder. Please see my other auctions for more hit & miss parts and collectibles.

Very hard to find original American Bosch U1 single-cylinder rotary magneto. It is as found from an old collector’s estate and in usable condition for its age. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads are in great shape. It is clockwise rotation and turns smoothly with no noticeable wear in the bearings. It has good magnetic pull and put out a nice, hot spark that is sure to run an engine if set up properly. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in nice shape. It has some deterioration on the base and also a small crack on each side as I’ve pointed out in the photos. This doesn’t seem to affect its performance and would be easy to remedy with your method of choice. These magnetos are pretty tough to find so if you need one don’t miss out on this one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.

Here is a nice American Bosch Type 1922. These fit Witte engines and that is about it as far as I know. It makes a very hot spark and should be ready to start and run your engine. The name tag has a slight crack but I have never even seen one of these with a name tag before now. 2 of the mounting holes seem to have been slightly enlarged for some reason but that shouldn’t matter at tall. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Minimal amount of wear. Name tag cracked but that won’t hurt it, this is the only one I’ve ever seen that even had a tag. The mounting pattern is about 3-3/8″ x 1-13/16″. 2 of the mounting holes may have been enlarged but that will not hurt anything. For Questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like. Brass #6 Cylinder Oiler for Hit Miss Engine. Oiler is in good condition and ready to use. Has vent tube and check ball. 9 tall tip to tip. 3 1/2″ diameter x 4 1/8″ tall. Very hard oiler to come by.
