This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch DU4 Edition 18 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a slight chip on the points cover which shouldn’t affect anything. It is counter-clockwise or anti clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape in two of the holes but there are studs or bolts in two of them that will need to be removed if you so choose. These original CCW DU4 magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a pretty nice one. Here a neat American Lubricator Co gas engine cylinder oiler. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! 3 diameter main glass. 3/8 pipe mounting bottom. 8 tall with the flipper up. No bottom glass but that is something easy to get. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may vary from yours. Most items will go out faster though. Beautiful, well built and very scarce no. Ting solid brass Lubricator/Oiler made by American Injector Co of Detroit. Older model, complete with original valve handles. For your consideration is this American Bosch FX1 ED22 Magneto used on various applications From IHC McCormick Deering, Elgin, Bean and others. Single cylinder Anti or Counterclockwise rotation. No cracks, breaks or welds. Assume it needs rebuilt and we will all be happy. The ID band is split and there is a piece out of the wire lead out tower but it should still work.
