Antique IHC Type-L Magneto 1 1/2 3HP M Hit Miss Gas Engine
antique

Up for sale Type L magneto. The mounting holes have a 2 on center bolt spacing. The mounting holes are not the greatest looking condition but as long as you are careful installing they should work just fine. Pot metal base has some pitting. This magneto will produce a weak spark by using a test wire and by giving it a quick spin by hand. I turned it using a small drill as it was tricky to see a spark by hand, it puts out a very hot looking spark when it’s turned a decent speed. Definitely will need a recharge or some work before it could start an engine in its current condition. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description!

Antique Detroit Hydrostatic 1/3PT Brass Lubricator Hit Miss Steam Engine Parts

Neat old lubricator for parts or restore! All sight glass is broken! One of the sight glass fittings appears to be bent, I point to it with a screw driver in a couple of the pictures. I do not see any repairs or cracks to the reservoir unlike a lot of these old lubricators. What you see is what I have! The valves are not stuck. Please see pictures for the absolute best description!

Antique old vintage hit miss gas engine bolster set cast iron large size
antique
Comments Off
These are about 70% larger than the small set. These cast iron bolsters take a lot of the work and all of the welding out of making a cart for your engine. One pair of stationary and a pivoting bolster with axle mounting hardware designed to work with axles 1 5/16″ to 2″ in diameter recommended for use on engines 4hp and up. A lot of you have bought wheels in the past with the idea of actually using them one day, well dig them out and dust them off (or leave the dust on) now is your chance to put them back to work even if they take different size axles, due to the design you can run any combination of 1 5/16″ to 2″diameter axles between the front and rear. Bolsters are 5 1/2″ tall and the width spacing between the mounting holes on the pivoting bolster base is 9 ¾”. Finished height of cart will vary depending on the diameter of the wheels used. Cast iron will give an antique look many prefer over fabricated strap steel and help your engine really stand out at the next show. Can of root beer for size comparison, not included. Photo of finished cart is for reference only, wheels engine etc are not included.

Does not turn over. Shaft threads and keyway area has some plier marks!! Base looks nice and is clean appearing on the exterior considering its age. I do not see any cracks or chips on the housing compared to a lot of the pot metal base magnetos. Please see pictures for the absolute best description.

Antique Brass Case Webster K26 Magneto Parts Hit Miss Engine

Webster type K26 magneto for sale. Please read full description. Missing the 2 springs and 3 rollers. The 4 mounting holes all look partially stripped however I did run a stud through each one and I really think if a person was careful they would work fine how they are, worst case scenario they’d need helicoils. Bolt pattern is 2″ x 2″ in centers. Brass case with pot metal bearing plates. This magneto will produce a pretty decent spark by giving the armature a quick spin by hand and scratching the lead out wire against my steel bench. I cannot prove that it’s enough spark to run or start an engine but I believe it’s a great candidate for a simple to easy rebuild. See pictures for the absolute best description.
