This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket body for an Associated or United hit and miss gas engine. It should fit all the sizes of engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303K55 and seems to be unused New Old Stock with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch square hole pattern so it would take a Model K or L Webster magneto. There is no wear on the movable shaft that I can feel. The point on the movable electrode is in perfect condition. It needs a stationary electrode, advance/retard lever and roller and return spring to be complete. I acquired it with a couple other NOS Webster brackets from an old collection. If you need an Associated ignitor bracket for any reason here is a very nice one that just needs some small available items to be functional. This bracket should be interchangeable with the 303K62 brackets for the Ottawa engines but this K55 is the authentic number used on Associated engines. The pictures tell the story. It has a 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ fill neck added on without a cap included, and a 1 fill neck added in the E and D of Associated. It will need a new fitting for the pipe to the mixer. The mounting tabs appear to be replacements. Here is a nice original head for an Associated Chore Boy or United equivalent engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look great. The valves also feel good in their guides and only a small amount wear can be felt. For questions 419 789 1159. Very hard part to find. The mounting hole pattern is 4-7/8″ x 4-7/8″ measured across from each other. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-1/8 apart on center. 1 pipe for exhaust. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for.
