IHC Mogul igniter for hit miss engine. Igniter is in good condition and ready to use. Is in perfect condition. Most of these have been repaired but this one is really nice. I took this off a 6 hp engine but should fit several size of engines. 3 1/4 center to center mounting holes. Also has half of the igniter trip rod. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I have it and haven’t gotten around to it yet so just check with me. Like I said I have done this a long time and try to list everything accurately to explain all the good and the bad. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper, I won’t take it back. Here is a very nice looking Motsinger Auto Sparker. This one seems to be older and have some differences than most I have seen. There is probably a wire should come from each coil to the brushes. One of the wires must be broken off but there is a little sticking out and someone could solder a new one on easily. I put 12 volts to the one brush and the wire sticking from the one coil and it spun right up just as it should. I imagine if it can spin with power is can make power if its spun. Most of these have cast iron gov weights but the broken ones are brass and so are the reproductions. With a little time and minimal work this can be a really neat piece. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Has some bearing wear that shouldn’t hurt anything. Spun right away when hooked up to 12 volts. Very nice, and hard to find. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. Here is a very nice looking Motsinger Auto Sparker. This one has the IHC style base and friction wheel. There is some bearing wear but I think it will still work fine if you want to use it. I put 12 volts to it and it spun right up just as it should. I imagine if it can spin with power is can make power if its spun. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Bosch magneto for hit miss engine, early auto, tractor, not sure?? Mag is in good condition and ready to use. Leaving the mag with original patina, new owner can shine up if desired. This is a trip mag and not a rotary mag. High tension magneto means used with sparkplug engines. I tripped mag on the bench and gave a nice spark. I think Witte used these mags also. 1 5/8″ x 2 1/4″ bolt spacing for the treaded holes. 1 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ mounting spacing that bolts mag to bracket. Reads “BOA” on the front. Have also been told that Gile engines in Little Bull tractors also used these. 2″x 2″ mounting spacing that bolts mag to bracket. 1 5/8 bracket spacing. Bracket # J 205. Double layer of magnets. Vintage Motsinger auto sparker. It does produce a spark, but I don’t know if it’s enough to run a engine. I pulled the pulley off and chuck a drill on it, on a d. Here’s an old Auto Sparker made by Motsinger. The last patent date on the builders tag is 1903. Someone has cleaned and repainted it. I don’t know if it works or not, but there are 2 wires hanging loose. The name tag is cracked there is a small tear in the tape that covers the windings. Other than the cracked tag and winding cover tape, I don’t see anything missing, broken or repaired. A few of the small screws may have been replaced though.
