This is a very hard to find original KW Model T 2-cylinder base mount magneto. It was used on the International Harvester Titan 10-20 tractor several Avery two-cylinder tractors, and possibly some other two-cylinder applications. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a broken sight glass in the cap which would be easy enough to replace and also one lower screw for the cap is missing. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice hot spark at both leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. Other than a couple minor additions and a little cleaning if you so choose this magneto should be ready to run your engine if it is set up properly. These original KW magnetos are extremely hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a very nice one.
