This is a SUPER original steam powered water pump. It was made by the Bishop and Babcock Company in Cleveland, Ohio. It is solid brass or bronze construction and is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except two ears of the cast iron wall mounting bracket that I have pointed out in a picture. It has most of its original paint and stenciling on it yet as can be seen! It measures about 14 inches tall and 23 1/2 inches long. It has patent dates on it from the mid 1890′s and is a “#2″ as noted on the pressure dome. Working condition is unknown as I’ve never had it apart but it looks to have had great care in the past! It would be a fine addition to your early steam pump collection or display. I would guess it would be tough to find a nicer original one than this one! I can deliver this for free to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, engine shows later this year. I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it. The pictures tell the story. It will be a long time before another one turns up. You won’t be disappointed in any way.
