It has a diecast body, and the threads in the bottom are nice, no breaks or cracks as well. It has been taken apart, cleaned, armature shafts turned down to make the perfectly round again, the bushing plates have been bored, and bushings made to fit the armature shafts, and pressed into plates. It has been painted, and put back together, magnet charged, new springs, rollers, band, and decal added. It has been tested and is hot and ready to install on your engine project. The mounting bolt pattern on these is 2″ X 2″. We have been in the magneto, igniter and carburetor business for 40 years, and everything we do is guaranteed for 2 years.
