Cast iron and steel construction, fully functional, modeled after a Stickney 1-3/4 h. Can be engaged while the engine is running. The engine must be stopped to disengage. Made for a 1/2″ diameter shaft with a 1/8″ keyway. Has a allen head set screw over the keyway for easy installation. This is a real nice original 16 1/2 inch cast iron clutch pulley for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind other than a slight chip on one of the wooden shoes that won’t affect anything. It has a 8 1/4 inch face and is 16 1/2inches in diameter. It has a 2 1/2 inch bore to find on the chankshaft and they key is still in it. It cold be bored larger or bushed down to accommodate your application. Everything works as it should and I believe it is ready to go to work on an engine! This style clutch pulley was used on Stover engines and many other engines. These original bigger clutch pulleys are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 4 inch face and is 4 inches in diameter. It has a 1 3/8 inch bore to fit on the crankshaft of the engine or the driveshaft of the implement. It has a bushing in it that is made to fit on a 3/4 inch shaft but this would be easily removed. It has a setscrew to tighten down on to the shaft. It has some belt dressing on it that comes off easily, as well. These original cast iron pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This is a real nice old 12 inch cast iron clutch pulley for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a 6 1/8 inch face and is 12 inches in diameter. It mounts to the crankshaft with a 2 inch bore. It could be bored at least to 2 1/4 and also could be bushed down. Everything works as it should and there is seemingly little wear. The wood blocks are in great shape. It has some ugly green paint on it that could be stripped off pretty easily. These original clutch pulleys are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. Up for sale is a really super nice and rare circa 1890 Ames Iron Works stationary steam engine. The engine is rated at 10 horse power. It has a absolutely amazing 2 inch gardener governor. Nothing on the engine is stuck, seized or broken. The engine looks completely original and intact and unmolested! It has a nice large pulley (I believe its 2 foot diameter). It has a tag from General Machinery in Philadelphia which is most likely the place where it was originally installed. I can hold the engine for an extended period of time. To anyone that was wondering: The photos were taken when I had the engine at a local show. That’s the reason for all of the stuff noticeable in the background. Very nice side crank bottle steam engine , older restoration, runs very smooth nothing broken bent or repaired , except the governor looks a little repaired or pieced together it is a one of a kind, but works well, can’t remember where it came from. The engine has no name plate, plate holes or any id. But i think it is a james beggs engine or at least design.
