A very hard to find brass bodied Bosch oscillating antique stationary Gas Engines magneto. Magneto is for a one cylinder hit and miss gas engine and will fit s engines as a Loranz or a Benz side shaft and possibly the later styles of fairbanks Morse type N and many others. Magneto is loose and seems complete but the end of the armature has some damage. Covers all look good. Please see pictures for more information and condition. BOSCH Type AB33 ED-1 High Tension Magneto. Bosch Type AB33 ED-1 high tension magneto for spark plug engine. Pot metal body in good condition. Flip type mag with spring. Bench tested – HOT. 4 hole mounting 1 5/8″ x 2 1/4″ – 2 locator pins for clamp mounting included (clamp is not included). I apologize for any inconvenience. Here is a nice Bosch Type 22. It is hot and should be ready to use. The arm that holds the spring is very slightly bent or twisted but I don’t think that will be a problem. The trip needs to be cocked to the left and then released for this mag to make spark, it will not work the other way. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Nice shape, spring arm slightly bent. The mounting pattern 2″ x 2″ The mounting holes have excellent threads. For Questions 419 789 1159. Here is a nice American Bosch Type 1922. These fit Witte engines and that is about it as far as I know. It makes a very hot spark and should be ready to start and run your engine. The name tag has a slight crack but I have never even seen one of these with a name tag before now. 2 of the mounting holes seem to have been slightly enlarged for some reason but that shouldn’t matter at tall. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Minimal amount of wear. Name tag cracked but that won’t hurt it, this is the only one I’ve ever seen that even had a tag. The mounting pattern is about 3-3/8″ x 1-13/16″. 2 of the mounting holes may have been enlarged but that will not hurt anything. For Questions 419 789 1159. Brass ROBERT BOSCH ZU4 HART PARR Tractor Magneto Car Truck Hit Miss Engine HOT

This is a VERY hard to find original Robert Bosch ZU4 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a very slight chip near one of the leadout holes which will affect nothing. It is clockwise rotation as marked on the hinged oiler lid. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. It has good threads on the end of the armature shaft and a key in the taper to accept the impulse of your choice. These magnetos were used on several early Hart Parr tractors and had other applications in the automotive world. Please do your homework to be sure it is correct for your application. These original brass base ZU4 magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a very nice one. AMERICAN BOSCH MJK CATERPILLAR Tractor Pony Motor Engine Magneto Hit Miss Steam

This is a nice original American Bosch MJK 2-cylinder flange mount magneto for an old Caterpillar crawler tractor pony starting engine. It is a model 4/2 180 version so please do your homework to be sure it will work for you. It is in solid condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a crack in the cap which looks like it could work the way it is or likely be repaired. It is a left-hand or counterclockwise magneto as noted by the arrow on the top of the housing. It turns over smoothly with no noticeable bearing wear and has very good magnetic pull. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark on both leadouts that’s almost 1/4 long. I had the cap off and everything inside looks very clean and like new. These American Bosch MJK magnetos especially good, hot ones are getting harder to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for a restoration here’s a very nice one.
