Here is a nice looking Bosch NRV low tension magneto. It is very much like Sumter B. It produces a very nice spark. There is a small amount of wear but nothing that will hurt anything. The armature turns over smoothly with no amount of drag. This mag should be ready to start and run your engine. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. Tapered shaft for gear mounting. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the mounting holes have excellent threads. Has a small amount of wear. I think this mag is pretty much ready to start and run your engine. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Here is a very nice Bosch BAO mag that is most commonly found on some Witte engines. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Very hot spark that can be seen and heard. Only minimal wear can be felt. 3-3/8″ x 1-7/8″ and 2-13/16″ x 1-21/32″ Mounting patterns, the holes that are threaded all have excellent threads. Weighs 8 lbs before any packing material or box. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch DU4 Edition 18 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a slight chip on the points cover which shouldn’t affect anything. It is counter-clockwise or anti clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape in two of the holes but there are studs or bolts in two of them that will need to be removed if you so choose. These original CCW DU4 magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a pretty nice one. This is a pretty nice original American Bosch FX1 ED1 high tension magneto for an old engine. It was factory equipment on some of the International Harvester Type M engines. The bearings have almost no noticeable wear and it turns over very smoothly with good magnetic pull. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of other than the name band which I believe are available as reproductions and the bail that holds the points cover on. It puts out a pretty good blue spark that should run an engine if it is set up properly with the addition of the correct gear for your application. It could also be cleaned up a bit for a possibly hotter spark. It has the original points cover and everything inside is in great shape. It mounts on a 1 7/8 x 3 3/8 pattern. These original Bosch FX1 magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is a rather scarce New Idea Vari-Speed engine in the 1 1/2-3hp size. It is stuck and a project but the key parts including the carburetor and Bosch Type S magneto are there. This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch FU4BR 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It was rebuilt a few years ago and not used since. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. These magnetos were used on some of the early Hart Parr tractors as well as other applications. These original Bosch FU4BR magnetos are very tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s an extremely nice one that’s ready to go!
