Oiler for hit miss engine, tractor, auto, steam, oilfield engine. 3/8 threads that are good. Both site glasses are good. Just the piece you need to complete your project or have an extra around. “A S IS” due to age. Here is a rare and neat 1/3 Pint Powell Boson oiler. This is meant to be used as a gas engine cylinder oiler and has a vent tube and check valve. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! Cylinder oiler with vent tube and check valve. 3/8 pipe mounting bottom. I was told that this oiler was used on either Reed or Bessener Oil Field Pumps, hit and miss engines. The top wooden knob is missing pic. 5 and the toggle, open-close, switch has had its original pin replaced by a piece of wire pic. I only cleaned the name areas enough to make them readable. The sight glasses are unbroken. There are a few dents and scratches, but, for its age it is in very good condition. It is 10 1/16″ high and 5 1/2″ wide. I was told that this oiler was used on either reed or bessener oil field pumps, hit and miss engines. It is in very good condition. The two wood knobs are not chipped or cracked. The two sight glasses are intact. One of them shows some cloth ends where it was packed with a rag to keep it tight. There are several scuffs and scrapes on the body but they just add character. I only cleaned the name areas enough to make them readable. There is a small amount of oil in the reservoir. I did not try to remove it.
