This is a pretty nice original and VERY had to find Hancock Inspirator or steam injector. It’s not all pounded up like a lot of the injectors that you see. It seems to be complete with all of the tail nuts and fittings. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 3/4 inch inspirator as the plumbing is 3/4 inch on the bottom and 1/2 inch on top. The body measures about 6 1/2 x 9 inches. It is marked with the makers name on a boss between the barrels of the body. All in all this is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original Hancock Inspirators are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. This is a VERY hard to find original Robert Bosch ZU4 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a very slight chip near one of the leadout holes which will affect nothing. It is clockwise rotation as marked on the hinged oiler lid. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on all four leadouts. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. It has good threads on the end of the armature shaft and a key in the taper to accept the impulse of your choice. These magnetos were used on several early Hart Parr tractors and had other applications in the automotive world. Please do your homework to be sure it is correct for your application. These original brass base ZU4 magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a very nice one. Here is a Accurate U brass body magneto This mag is often used on IHC Mogul Side Shaft and Titan Side Shaft engines. They are very hard to find and are especially hard to find in this condition. It’s hot and ready to use. One of the magnets appears to have been welded but it is really hard to see and will not hurt a thing. If you ever wanted to change that out magnets from a IHC R pot metal mag should be exactly the same and are easy to get. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The mounting pattern is about 2 on center. Mounting threads are great. No wear can be felt in the armature bushings. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. Here is a very nice small gear pump that can be used for a variety of old gas engines and other purposes. It would look really good mounting on a small tank cooled engine for moving cooling water. This is a brand new “Root & Vandervoort” engine tag copied from an original engine. THIS IS NOT A PRINTED TAG. IT IS ETCHED AND HAS DEPTH. I make these tags myself and take great pride and care to make sure this tag has the look and the feel of an original. Happy to say that this tag was made right here in the U. I use a process very similar to the way the original tags were made. You will be hard pressed to tell the difference in my tags and an original. This tag is ready to stamp with your engines’ specific information. This tag will fit engines with mounting holes center to center distance = 3.6250. Mounting holes are not drilled but they are clearly marked by the etching process. Depth of etch for this particular tag = 0.0044″ (+/- 0.0007″).
