Vintage Machinist Made Cast Brass/Steel Hit & Miss Steam Engine. Made by a mechanically inclined machinist type person, with access to a foundry, because the base is solid cast brass. It measures 13″ high by 6″ x 6 1/2 at the base. The engine is free but there is a still spot. The more we tried to run it, the better it ran. Still not completely smooth. Check out the video. We would be happy to provide additional pictures upon request. Ironage is pleased to offer a very wide range of antiques and interesting items. We do the best that we can with pictures and the descriptions but are not experts.
