Old ALAMO ROCK ISLAND Hit Miss Engine KEROSENE Mixer Carb Steam Tractor Magneto

This is an extremely hard to find original dual fuel or kerosene mixer or carburetor for an Alamo, Rock Island, Empire, Cockshutt, or other Alamo built throttling governor or kerosene engine. It is in excellent original used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and includes the rocker lever that runs on the governor collar and connects to the throttle shaft. The mixer body is part number 9277. The throttle shaft is nice and tight with very little wear. Both fuel needles are very nice and move as they should. This mixer mounts to a hole in the engine’s head. The “horn” that goes into the head measures 2 inches in diameter. It may fit different sizes of engines. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. I can’t ever remember seeing another mixer like this for sale so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is. I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. Woodpecker beehive mixer for hit miss engine. Mixer is in good condition and ready to use. Early mixer for a Woodpecker. Fits in a 2 3/8 hole. Brass mag that is in excellent condition. Very hard part to come by. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I have it and haven’t gotten around to it yet so just check with me. Like I said I have done this a long time and try to list everything accurately to explain all the good and the bad. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper, I won’t take it back. Here is A Nice 1/2 Hp Maytag Upright Gas Engine, This was in My Personal Collection For quite a few years, I Have decided to thin a few out. This Is an early Engine That Has All The proper Features: Has The Carburetor Mounted to the main Bearing, This does Have the proper early Narrow flange carburetor, But Missing The Choke cap, which are available here on E-Bay…… Has the Original 2 piece governor That looks Like it would run the engine……. Commutator is there But Missing The contact spot Off it. Flywheel is in good Condition, I see no Damage in the usual Areas But does Have one chipped blade Of The Fan, Which is Fairly common… Also I See No serial Number stamped on it…… I Have run across Quite a few With No Serial Numbers For some reason.. This is early enough to Have used the small footed Base, Like The Experimental Carburetor Engines used….. When I first Got This engine I Had One foot On The Base fixed with nickle rod, It Is A good repair But will Not Rust, It Is A difficult Base to find! This Is Over All Good Engine From What I can Tell I Have never Had it Apart, The Main Feels pretty good without any extreme wear, The Rod Does have some play. The Engine Does have pretty good Compression, I Think with some tinkering This Engine would Run, However it would be A good idea to Resize the rod If you were planning On Running this a lot. Cylinder jug Is Good with NO Broken Or Repaired Fins, It Does have A couple Minor chips, Probably From when it was machined. It Also has Unique Brass Muffler That Displays well with it! It’s great Engine If you want an Original Maytag Upright, But would Also Be a good Restoration Candidate…… At least It Is All There, NOT Pieced together, Not Stuck & Not In Need of any Major repairs!!! I will Do My Best To Box & Pack Everything, As I would want to receive it…… Don’t forget to Look At my other items. Or Be sure to add me to your favorites list. Riggs FH model antique air cooled stationary gas engine. Motor is loose and is very early with slant find and brass carb. Carb looks in good condition and motor has a lot of great parts or could be restored. Flywheel has some crazing and pulley is broke but fins cylinder head and rest of engine looks very nice and i think ran not that long ago. This is an extremely hard to find original Lunkenheimer 1 inch Left Hand brass fuel mixer or carburetor for a hit and miss or early marine engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is the higher end mixer with the air damper or choke plate in it. Everything works and moves as it should and it has very little wear anywhere on it. The 1 inch mounting threads are in great condition. It needs a ground union for the fuel line to hook up but these are available rather inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. These mixers are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for any reason here it is. The pictures tell the story. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! You’ll like it.
