For your consideration is an original Fairbanks Morse Z carburetor/fuel mixer. This is for the smaller throttle governed engines such as the dishpan or spoked flywheel Z, in the 1-1/2 to 2hp size but NOT the ZD. This is painted green with yellow needle valves. Both needle valves turn as they should. The 2x 7/16″ mounting holes are 2-1/4″ on center. The throttle moves and is spring loaded. This is a very hard to find original brass fuel mixer for an early outboard, marine, or other gas engine. It is in outstanding condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of and everything moves as it should. It mounts with two holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It has 1/8 male threads for the fuel line connection and they are in great shape. I believe this mixer is ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original brass mixers, especially ones as nice as this one are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the disc on the fuel needle which works as it should as does the choke plate. It mounts with three holes 1 3/8 inches apart on center and the hole in that mounting flange is about 3/4 inch in diameter. I believe this is for the 1 1/2hp engines. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. I believe this mixer is ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare.
