For your consideration is a throttle governed carburetor for a Fairbanks Morse spark plug model Z 3hp throttle governed engine. The throttle butterfly turns as it should and is spring loaded. The 2x 7/16″ mounting bolt holes are 3-1/4″ on center. It has some original red pain on it. The both the gas line fuel needle, and the starting side needle turns, the compensater in the intake is spring loaded. The original fuel line and check valve is included with it, the check valve will need cleaned. This one is unique on the choke being a shaft and a bigger elbow, the shaft is tight but moves and could use freeing up more. It’s in original patina. A very early Brass Carburetor made by the Zenith Carburetor Company for I believe an antique motorcycle or small stationary gas engine. Carburetor is a smaller carburetor and seems to be in good loose condition. Bolt holes are in a 2 in center to center with a 3/4 in opening. What I have in the pictures is what I have, no cracks breaks or welds. Everything on carburetor is loose. A very nice looking early Patent applied for motorcycle carburetor. This would make a great carb if one was building a model tractor or fixing a antique motorcycle. May also fit a Koehler hit and miss gas engine. I have for sale a carburetor specifically from a 3HP Throttle governed Fairbanks Morse Z engine. I believe it’s the same carburetor that some of the 6HP z engines use. Keep in mind this does is not the fuel pump style carb! Bolt hole spacing between the 2 holes is 3 1/4 on centers! Part numbers are a little tricky to read but I believe they say ZBA4A and ZCA4A. Throttle shaft moves freely. The gas line will need some work/replacing to the fuel inlet. See pictures for the absolute best description. Keep in mind this is a used item, it has wear and is almost 100 years old.

The 2x 3/8″ mounting bolt holes are 2-1/4″ on center. It’s painted red. Both fuel needles turn, the compensater in the intake is spring loaded. This carb may also fit a JK but utilizes a different intake elbow or the orientation may change, I’m not sure.
