Good internal flutter valve. 1 pipe thread to engine. 1 pipe thread air intake. 1/4 thread gas line. Good fuel adjusting needle. RARE part and hard to come by. This is an extremely hard to find original fuel mixer or carburetor for an old Rawleigh Schryer hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except that it needs the thin steel choke plate replaced which should be pretty straightforward. The needle moves as it should. It has a 1 1/16 diameter neck to go into the bottom of the head. It is part number AA89 and has some original silver paint on it. Other than the choke plate which probably isn’t totally necessary I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. Old Rawleigh Schryer mixers are tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is. Here is a rare old Kingston 5 ball carb. It seems to be in good shape but I don’t know much about this type of carb. I think the air inlet hole might have a slight dent. This is a rather hard to find original Ideal 3/4 inch fuel mixer or carburetor for an old hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a crack in the jam nut on the seat fitting. This jam nut really doesn’t do anything and could easily be removed. The needle moves as it should but the knob is is a bit loos on it which could easily be peened to be tight again. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in good shape. The 1/8 npt threads for the fuel line are also in great shape. The lower valve moves as it should and has little wear. It has a few dings and marks but every thing works as it should and I believe it is ready to be used on an engine. Old Ideal mixers are tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is. The pictures tell the story. Here is a piece that is about impossible to find if you need it. This is a mixer for a McVicker’s Automatic hit and miss gas engine. Probably for a 6 HP – 2nd generation engine, but may fit others as well. The main body of the carb is in great shape. Nothing broken or repaired. The choke valve has a replacement handle on it as the original was broken off. The needle valve and plug in the top is missing and will need to be made. But the hard part is there and in good shape.
