This is a Stuart Turner Compressor or Vacuum pump Factory Built. This is a twin cylinder with a Cast Iron factory base and serial number as shown in pictures. The Brass tank is a water separator so that it does not get into the air compressor or the equipment supplied with compressed air. This unit is very rare to find as factory built, it used to powered using a Stuart Sirius that is also listed as a separate item in another listing. This unit dates to the 1940′s. I have up for sale an old farm fresh antique Curtis No. B318 Size 2-1/2 x 3 Compressor. It has a 12″ fly wheel, stands approx 20″ tall and weighs approx 64 lbs. This is for a flat belt as you can see. As far as I can tell it appears to work correctly. I see no damages. There is a lot of grease and grime. I cleaned some of it off but otherwise its as found. This is an old barn find from North Central Wisconsin. I will package with utmost care. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. Old Fairbanks Morse Compressor Engine for starting Large Hit Miss Engines – very rare. These engines were used to force compressed air into a very large engine to turn the engine over and get it started. Original cast iron base, all in one compressor unit. When I found it the compressor had been taking off, set aside and the engine was painted and being shown by itself. Rare Fairbanks engine with 1 Solid flywheel the mates directly to compressor. Engine has Good compression, hasn’t run in years will need some tinkering / fixin – should be a good runner. AB33 Bosch Magneto – missing cover, will most likely need a tune up. Compressor has some repairs, they are done very well, you won’t see them when restored its going to need some tinkering also, but I believe it is mostly complete except for piping. The piston is stuck on the compressor from sitting. We can deliver the Engine up to 300 Miles with compensation. PLEASE WATCH VIDEO BELOW. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS.
