Here is a very nice hopper chimney or cone for a Stover hit and miss engine. I think it will fit several different kinds of them including a CT2. It is in pretty good shape. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The raised center area is about 4″ x 6″, that would correspond to the hopper opening on the engine. It needs the clamps to hold it onto the hopper but those are just threaded bars of steel and would be super easy to make. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The mounting holes for the clamps are 3-1/16 apart on center. The overall dimensions are about 6-7/8″ x 4-13/16″. The raised center area is about 3-9/16″ x 5-1/4″. No cracks, breaks, welds. This is a rather hard to find original cast iron cone type muffler for a Hercules or other hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in original condition with non cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is about 10 3/8 inches in diameter and about 4 1/2 inches “thick”. It has 2 inch NPT threads and they are in great shape. These original cast iron mufflers are often missing on engines. They are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it.
