This is a very unusual and small original hopper cooled two cycle flywheel type gas engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that i can see or know of. It is quite small measuring only about 10 inches tall and 13 inches long overall. It has 6 1/2 x 1 inch flywheels on it. It turns over nicely with great compression and shouldn’t take much to make run although i haven’t tried it. It has most of it’s original paint on it and more to be found under the grease that’d still on it. It gets it’s fuel from the crankcase and the main bearing caps are cast integral with the crankcase cover. I believe this is a factory built engine as all of the castings, parts, and machine work seems very finished and not crude at all! There is no serial tag or evidence that there ever was one. I’m not sure if the muffler is original or a later addition but i’m sure it does a great job and gives the engine a mellow sound when it’s running. This engine would certainly be an attention getter at the shows! It would be a fine addition to your small engine collection and it’s easy to move around!
