Original cast-iron crank case cover with oiler hole for a 1 1/2 hp dempster antique stationary gas engine. Crank cover is in good condition with no cracks breaks or welds. A very hard piece to find. Please see pictures for more information and condition.

Here is a very nice and very hard to find crank guard for a 7hp and or 8hp Hercules or Economy engine. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Fits a 7hp and or 8hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss engine. The Economy engines usually aren’t drilled and tapped for these guards but that’s really easy to do if you want to! The mounting tabs are slotted, the bolt holes would probably be around 8 apart on center. See pics for other dimensions. For your consideration is an original 8 Cycle Aermotor hand start crank part number Z219. It should fit a 1-3/8″ crankshaft as it’s 1-13/32″ through. The wood hand grip is missing and the bolt is bent but that’s an easy enough part to fix. It’s in original patina. I believe this to be a cast iron and original Crank Guard for a 4HP Fairbanks Morse H engine! Please do some measuring and comparing on your engine before purchasing to save us both the time and headache!!! The mounting hole spacing looks to be 8 on centers. As you can see in the pictures the mounting holes have a “chunk” missing from each side. I think with some time this could be fixed up or just put larger washers on when installing. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description.
