For your consideration is a Hercules Crank Guard for I believe a 5-6hp Hit Miss Engine. It is about 8 between the center to center of the slots for the mounting bolts. It’s about 15-1/2 from tip of top to tip of bottom flange. The guard part is about around 6-3/8 wide. The bolt slots are about 8 on center. You could use this on an Economy engine but you’d have to drill the engine back. It is heavy and made of cast iron. It’s in original patina. Here is an original hand crank for a 3hp Vertical IHC Famous hit and miss engine. It seems to be in good shape and ready to use. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! The hole is about 1-11/16 in diameter, it is meant to fit on a somewhat smaller crankshaft. I had it on a 3hp IHC Vertical and it seemed to fit well. No cracks, breaks, or welds. For questions 419 789 1159. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is a very nice original and very hard to find cast iron starting crank for a Desjardin orJulien hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It fits on a 2 or 2 1/16″ inch crankshaft as it has a 2 1/8″ hole and will work to start many engines but it came from the factory with a Desjardin or Julien engine. The starting lug is in great shape. It is ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is. It would surely make starting your engine easier! For your consideration is an original Crankguard for a 3HP Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine. Its about 4-3/8″ wide overall where it bolts to the cylinder, about 5-1/2″ wide on the guard at the bottom base and about 6-1/8″ wide on the extension, 5-1/2″ wide in the center, it’s just under 17 long from end to end in the center of the actual guard. It’s in original patina with some original red paint.
