This is a very interesting Lunkenheimer Crown No 4 Oiler. Someone replaced the original swing top with a wooden handle at some point in it’s life. I popped the handle off (It looks like an old chisel or screwdriver handle) to check the shaft and it looks like the original shaft is still complete if you wish to put a swing top back on it (see pics). The valve still turns as it should, and both sight glasses are in excellent condition. Needs a bit of a cleaning. I have a ton more hit & miss oilers coming! Please check out my other auctions! Here is a nice and larger No. 6 Lunkenheimer Crown Swing Top Oiler. This is just about as big as they come with the No. 8 being the only size larger. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! 3-7/16 diameter main glass. Seems to be in good shape. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may vary from yours.
