Specs: 2 to 2-1/2 HP, 610 RPM. It starts and runs good (see video above). Includes starter crank handle. The head has been repaired. We are not open on night’s and weekends. This engine is in perfect shape mechanically, good holding compression, virtually no wear on the moving parts etc.. I have owned this engine a couple times over the years, and I always debate keeping it since it’s so nice. I didn’t do it myself because the welded one works just fine, and maybe the new owner will want to leave it alone. Good original gas tank with no leaks, and correct muffler. The thing you see by the flywheel hub is just the key gib head, both flywheels are good, with no cracks or issues, and they both run straight as an arrow. This engine is perfectly in time, runs smooth, coasts good, and is ready to hit the shows this summer and fall! Please see pictures and video, and decide for yourself. This engine is in excellent shape mechanically. Compression is very good, and everything has very little wear. I have been over this engine and checked everything. I reset the valve timing, ignition timing, and both are now dead on. I also took the governor apart and replaced the original spring with one that is much weaker, so the engine runs nice and slow now. I also put a new return spring on the Wico EK trip mechanism. This engine has never seen the elements, you can see where they painted around the original decal which is very readable and still has good color. Only weld on the engine is on the Wico EK trip arm, and it looks like a very good weld, it will never give you any trouble. No gas or water leaks! This engine just needs a new owner and a show to take it to, NO tinkering required, starts easy and will run all day without trouble. You won’t be disappointed with this one. The engine is mechanically very, very nice. Compression is really strong. Wico EK magneto is nice and hot and never fails to start the engine right up. Engine hits strong and coasts for a good period of time. I ran the engine for two hours today, and it never once misfired or double hit, it was as steady as could be. The engine is 100% complete including the belt pulley and muffler. Only negative on the engine is the crankcase breather has a small chip out of it and the little leather flapper is missing on top. Gas tank is good with no leaks, no water leaks either. This engine needs NOTHING except a new owner and a show to take it to, NO tinkering required. You won’t be disappointed with this one.
