Very nice original 3hp John Deere E cylinder/crankcase along with cam gear, camshaft, governor, side cover, top cover, and other small parts. It is in great shape with no cracks breaks, or repair that I can see or know of other than a small cutout in the subbase under the cylinder and a hole in the top of the crankcase cover from an honest attempt at a breather. This should be easy enough to fill in. It has the original gas tank which is pretty solid but does have some rust holes in it. It has the bearing caps but is missing one bearing and the other is chipped. The bore looks good and has some surface rust and very minor pitting if anything. I think with some honing it would be quite usable! The governor cover has the original brass tag on it and is the earlier cover with all of the writing. This would be a very restorable engine with the addition of several parts or a good donor engine for your 3hp John Deere with a cracked water jacket! Here is a pretty decent old 2-Cylinder Leroi power unit. This style engine was possibly used in some of the earlier smaller tractors. On the original skids with the original old style radiator. Engine turns over as it should. Radiator looks pretty good other than one hole that may or may not need attention. Extensive weld repair on crankcase many moons ago that looks to have survived quite well. The manifold and original muffler look to be in good shape. Here’s an extremely hard to find and real nice original Locomobile 2-cylinder steam car engine. No cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the water pump and plunger but is missing the outlet fitting. Everything moves as it should and it runs great on compressed air. It has the original exhaust manifold. Drive gear looks to have very little wear. Some of the pivot pins are a bit worn and may need tightening up. It has the original Locomobile plate on the steam chest. It is also on the original cast iron display or stationary base which I’ve never seen before and couldn’t find another like it online. It is likely very scarce! It is about 12 inches tall overall and 24 inches long. It is serial number 53xx “Patent Applied For”. Will make a great addition to your early steam engine or car collection! This is a pretty nice original Maytag Model 92 air cooled hit and miss gas engine. It was original used on a Maytag wash machine. It is in great original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It turns over nicely with good compression and has very good spark. I haven’t tried to run it but see no reason that it won’t run. It has the v-belt pulley on it and should be ready to work! It would be a great addition to your air cooled engine or Maytag collection! I can deliver for free to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for.
