Fits John Deere E 6 HP Oil Pan SS With the Steel Cup Hit Miss Gas Engine

This is for a John Deere “E” 6 hp oil pan. My John Deere pans are 16 gauge stainless steel, laser cut and very stiff (to hold the gasket against the block). They now have the 1018 steel oil cup spot welded on for when you are working the engine real hard and for limiting oil splash. These are Made In The USA, We refuse to use import sources to manufacture our specialty parts just to make a bit more profit like others do. Here is a John Deere low tension magneto. This is the mag that most 1-1/2hp, 3hp, and 6hp John Deere E hit and miss engines use. This mag is stuck and has a broken case. The shaft will turn on one end but doesn’t appear to turn on the other end. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. 3/8 shaft for gear. No spark Cracking on case. Leadout tower may not be original. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a parts magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing! Nice clean appearing igniter! Has good spring tension! I don’t see why it shouldn’t work with little to no adjustments, however it could definitely be possible springs may need adjusting depending whether you plan to run your engine with a magneto or a battery and coil. I don’t see any breaks or repairs, there is some “holes” air pockets but I believe that’s just a casting flaw. Shouldn’t affect its performance at all.
