This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron flat belt pulley and mounting stub shaft for a 6hp John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The stub shaft is part number E2014R and the pulley has a 6 1/2 inch face and is 12 inches in diameter. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel with three holes 4 5/16 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original 6hp John Deere cast iron pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This is an original rotary magneto for a 1 1/2, 3, and 6hp John Deere E engine. It is as found from an old engine collectors estate. It appears to be complete. It has a crack in the housing as I’ve pointed out but is in better shape than many of them that come along! The mounting holes need helicoil type repairs. I think it should be a very rebuildable magneto. The pictures tell the story. This is an extremely hard to find original Splitdorf 246T two cylinder magneto for the early John Deere D farm tractors. It is in remarkable original condition with no crack, s breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a chipped ear on the distributor cap which shouldn’t affect it’s function. It is counter clockwise rotation and mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern. The mounting threads are in great shape. There is some minor metal expansion in the base near the holes but not nearly as bad as many of these magnetos! It turns over nicely with good magnetic pull and the impulse works as it should. It has some decent spark but could probably use some more cleaning and possibly a condenser to liven it up. These original 246T magnetos are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for an authentic restoration or for a spare on the shelf here it is! Here is what I will describe as the best original condition 1 HP R&V (Root and Vandervoort) antique hit and miss engine that I have personally seen. It is 100% complete and all original with exception of the reproduction crank guard. There are NO repairs, brakes or welds of any kind. There is at least 50% original paint on the engine and that is being very conservative! This engine has awesome compression with no blow by and runs just as good as it looks. There are NO apologies with this one. You can mount it on a set of skids or a set of trucks if you like or put it in the back of your truck as is and take it to a show and run it all day. I just cannot emphasize enough just how nice this engine is. This is also the more desirable 1 HP with the flyball governor and does not “clunk” wile it is running. Believe this is not a kit. It was completely built. Please look at pictures this is an amazing tractor. This tractor runs off alcohol. Fill brass canister(which has a wick in it) and light wick on other end. Shift into gear and watch move.. Very unique and all machined. I received this in trade and do not know anything about it.
