This is a very hard to find original governor detent for a 2 1/2hp Fluted Hopper Aermotor hit and miss gas engine. At least I’m pretty sure that’s what it is for. If it isn’t please educate me! It is about 7 3/4 inches long and pivots with a 1/2 hole. It is in excellent, used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The roller moves freely with average wear and it should be ready to go to work! It came from the estate of an early engine collector. If yours is broken, missing, or repaired here’s a chance at a very nice one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. I think this is an original detent for a 3hp IHC vertical engine. Check the measurements and pics to make sure its what you need. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! The mounting hole is 1/2. 8-3/4 overall length from center of mounting hole to tip of the detent blade. For questions 419 789 1159. I try to list items very accurately but my opinions on condition may vary from yours. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. This is a rather hard to find original speed changer/detent finger for a Fairbanks Morse Dishpan Z hit and miss gas engine. It is in good used condition with very little wear. Everything moves and interacts as it should and it is ready to be used on an engine. Please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. If you need a speed changer for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here’s your chance at a really nice one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.
