Very nice vintage 1/4 scale engine. Engine starts on first pull of flywheels. Buzz coil needs rebuilt. I have ran this engine with external buzzcoil. Some paint wear due to age. Nice Scale Model Domestic Side Shaft Hit Miss Engine

Here is a very nice scale model Domestic Side Shaft engine. It starts and runs great. I run it on camp stove fuel. It has one discrepancy. One flywheel does not run true. I believe that in moving recently, the shaft got slightly bent. I don’t have the skill or tools to fix this. Note in one picture that it is shown in front of my full scale Domestic engine. 9×6 heavy duty display trailer with oak boards. 1919 Domestic schramm 2HP. Air compressor engine with 10 gallon air tank. 1916 pumpjack with pump. All mounted on trailer. Good condition and were running when put in storage. Will try and get better pictures if need. Domestic 4 hp side-shaft, throttle governed engine. Had running about two years ago, however, tried starting it today and it only ran for about 4-5 rotations before stopping. Seems to be the carburetor as being the problem. Magneto was restored with new coils and produces a good spark. One flywheel has a repaired crack at hub, brazen was taken out and re-welded with nickel.
