Very nice vintage 1/4 scale engine. Engine starts on first pull of flywheels. Buzz coil needs rebuilt. I have ran this engine with external buzzcoil. Some paint wear due to age. Here is a very nice scale model Domestic Side Shaft engine. It starts and runs great. I run it on camp stove fuel. It has one discrepancy. One flywheel does not run true. I believe that in moving recently, the shaft got slightly bent. I don’t have the skill or tools to fix this. Note in one picture that it is shown in front of my full scale Domestic engine. Domestic 4 hp side-shaft, throttle governed engine. Had running about two years ago, however, tried starting it today and it only ran for about 4-5 rotations before stopping. Seems to be the carburetor as being the problem. Magneto was restored with new coils and produces a good spark. One flywheel has a repaired crack at hub, brazen was taken out and re-welded with nickel.
