A very well machined model of a live steam engine logging donkey winch 1 1/2 Scale Hit Miss. Dimensions are 11″ W by 18″ L by 26 H. I owned this model since new, and ran it on on Air. I used sewing machine oil to lubricate all bearings & parts while running on air. The model is ready to steam using a fitted propane burner. It will be fixed to the Plastic bin bottom to stay upright. Please see photos for actual condition. I was told that this oiler was used on either Reed or Bessener Oil Field Pumps, hit and miss engines. The top wooden knob is missing pic. 5 and the toggle, open-close, switch has had its original pin replaced by a piece of wire pic. I only cleaned the name areas enough to make them readable. The sight glasses are unbroken. There are a few dents and scratches, but, for its age it is in very good condition. It is 10 1/16″ high and 5 1/2″ wide. I was told that this oiler was used on either reed or bessener oil field pumps, hit and miss engines. It is in very good condition. The two wood knobs are not chipped or cracked. The two sight glasses are intact. One of them shows some cloth ends where it was packed with a rag to keep it tight. There are several scuffs and scrapes on the body but they just add character. I only cleaned the name areas enough to make them readable. There is a small amount of oil in the reservoir. I did not try to remove it.
