Early rare Sattley engine made by Field & Brundage. One of a bunch of engines I was planning on fixing/restoring and haven’t got time. They need to go to a good home. No cracks breaks or welds that I can find. Looks to be a recent restoration, It is all original and all complete with parts that have original casting #’s. Big triple bar webster magneto, and it is hot. Has the always missing running speed adjustment on flywheel. I think gas tank may be rebuilt or new/custom. May need new rings/wrist pin, there is compression but there is a lot of blow by- perhaps new rings that arent seated, or a sloppy wrist pin or connecting rod babbit or slightly bent rod. IF you don’t like price, MAKE ME AN OFFER! It is used and very old. It is not going to be in perfect shape. I will be listing more ENGINES & PARTS. This is a real nice original fuel mixer or carburetor for an International Harvester 1 1/2hp Type M gas engine. It is the earliest style mixer with the two needles before they changed to the 3 needle and eventually the single needle. It is part number 9624TA and is in excellent original used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the screw for the choke plate being turned off and the top of the drain valve which is stuck. These are not used unless you run the engine on kerosene. Both needles turn freely and are the early ones with cast iron heads although one has been broken off. I believe this mixer would work as it is or with just a little effort could be made perfect! These early original mixers don’t come up for sale that often so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is. The pictures tell the story. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! You’ll like it. Early example of a Sears Roebucks Farm Master engine. Serial #A2323 – A very low serial number, they most likely started at 100 or 1000. Looks to have original paint and possibly wood skids- but no way to know (the hardware looks pretty old). Has compression and turns over fine, everything is free and i’m sure this engine would run fine in the right hands. It will need a little tinkering. Water hopper splash guard is bad, but they can be replaced fairly easily. It will be insured & packaged properly. It is used and very old. It is not going to be in perfect shape. Bosch magneto for hit miss engine, early auto, tractor, not sure?? Mag is in good condition and ready to use. Leaving the mag with original patina, new owner can shine up if desired. This is a trip mag and not a rotary mag. High tension magneto means used with sparkplug engines. I tripped mag on the bench and gave a nice spark. I think Witte used these mags also. 1 5/8″ x 2 1/4″ bolt spacing for the treaded holes. 1 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ mounting spacing that bolts mag to bracket. Reads “BOA” on the front. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I have it and haven’t gotten around to it yet so just check with me. Like I said I have done this a long time and try to list everything accurately to explain all the good and the bad. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper, I won’t take it back. I turned it with drill and lite up a 12 volt test light. Have been told that these were used on early automobiles. Have also been told that Gile engines in Little Bull tractors also used these. 2″x 2″ mounting spacing that bolts mag to bracket. 1 5/8 bracket spacing. Bracket # J 205. Double layer of magnets. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I have it and haven’t gotten around to it yet so just check with me.
