Featured on the cover of Gas Engine Magazine, Volume 30, No. Has been stored indoors ever since. I bought it from Joe Olsen of Ukiah, CA in 1993 and have shown it at CA branch 31 Gas-Ups. The engine is mounted on a special, solid oak truck, fancy striping, and a unique undercut which allows turning the engine around in a radius equal to the length of the truck. The solid oak rails (6-1/2″ x 3-1/3″) have a dozen coats of marine varnish over the striping and lettering. The metal guard over the undercut is polished copper with brass screws. The engine has an in-line spark indicator light (from a motorcycle) which shows when a spark is sent to the spark plug. A solar charger is mounted on the battery box’s lid to keep the battery charged. Available only until Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Fairfax, CA.

Ottawa Hit Miss Gas Engine Early Vacuum KEROSENE FUEL MIXER Steam Magneto Oiler

This is an original early vacuum fuel pump type kerosene fuel mixer or carburetor for an Ottawa throttling governor gas engine. It should be correct for the 2 1/2, 3, and 4hp engines. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has 1 npt pipe threads to mount to the engine. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. After just some minor additions of needles and seats this mixer should be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one! I can be reached at 262 573 193 1 if you’d like to talk about it.

Unknown to me governor. Turns over but has some rough areas. Has a couple old weld repairs. Teeth are worn quite a bit. Pulley is not attached to the shaft by very much. Bolt hole spacing is 3 3/4 on centers. The stem that runs the balls in and out is bent up towards the top. See pictures for the absolute best description.

CONNECTING ROD Oiler #0 Brass Hit Miss Gas Steam Engine Tractor Magneto 1/8 NPT

This is a pretty nice origina brass connecting rod oiler in the “0″ size. It is about 1 3/8 inches in diameter and about 2 13/16 inches tall overall. It has 1/8 npt pipe threads that are in great shape. The original cap is there which is often missing. It has some minor wear overall but has great original patina! The reservoir glass looks to be in good shape and after some cleaning and the addition of gaskets it should be ready to be used on your project. These small connecting rod oilers are pretty tough to find. It would be a nice way to top off any engine that needs a nice rod oiler. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. I can be reached at 262 573 193 1 if you’d like to talk about it.

WIZARD TYPE A1 FRICTION DRIVE MAGNETO Ser No 123999 AUTO SPARKER Hit Miss Engine
wizard

Here is a Wizard Type A1 friction magneto. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Mounts with 2 holes about 4-3/4 apart on center. Only very minimal bearing wear. See pics for dimensions. Weighs about 16 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing!
