Here is an extremely hard to find oiler made by Michigan Lubricator Company specifically for a Backus gas engine cylinder. It is in good condition with no breaks or repairs but does have some testament to its days in service as can be seen. It retains some of the original nickel plating and has a few nicks but still has great patina and would look great on an original engine. It is between a #5 and #6 size with the glass measuring about 3 3/8″ diameter and about 3 5/8″ tall. Overall the oiler is about 3 3/4″ diameter and about 9″ tall. It is marked “144 1/2″ on a hex flat and it has the original filler plug. It had 7/8-12 straight machine threads and someone put tapered pipe threads on it for the first portion. The straight threads should still work just fine. Both glasses are good but it needs new gaskets. It has vent tubes casted into the main stem as you can see in the pictures. This would be a great compliment to a high quality engine! It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. Here is a very nice and small original Brunner Air Compressor with a base and flywheel castings. Many people have used these little compressors to make model gas engines. I bought this setup at a swap meet last year. The compressor seems to be in good shape and has some compression or vacuum. It has a very small chip out of the base by one of the mounting holes. One of the flywheels appears to have a casting flaw that was ground on or filled in a bit. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The bore is about 1-7/8 in diameter but it is difficult to measure so that might not be perfectly accurate. The stroke is about 2. The crankshaft is about 15/16 in diameter. The base has a chip by one of the mounting holes. The compressor on the base is about 12-1/4 long in overall length. The flywheels are about 9-3/4″ and 10″ in diameter, one just appears to have some extra iron on the rim, the should machine to match. No plans, make it however you want! This is a rather hard to find original ignitor for a 1 1/2-12hp Fuller Johnson hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It seems to have new points and springs and is in perfect shape, nice and tight and smooth operating. I did connect a battery and coil to it and tested it. It produces a nice HOT blue spark! It is part number 2N88A and mounts with two holes 2 3/4 inches apart on center. It is ready to go to work in an engine. If you are in need of here’s your chance, don’t miss it. Here is a nice Motsinger friction generator or magneto. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Only very minimal bearing wear. The governor may be reproduction but it is nice, it is missing its set screw. The armature cover is reproduction but seems to fit well Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Will run on 12 volts. Overall its about 11-1/8″ long, 10-1/2″ wide, and 6-3/8 tall. Weighs about 19 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Here is an 8 port Madisin Kipp mechanical oiler or lubricator Model 50 No. This oiler is complete and seems to be working as it should. Everything moves freely and easily. It is in just the condition I found it in, all oily and greasy. I lightly cleaned the tags for pictures but have done nothing else to it at all. Here is an intake assembly that I think is for a Myrick Eclipse gas engine. It seems to be in great shape and ready to use. The nut under the spring appears to be there to take up some room. If you changed out the spring for a longer one the nut could be removed. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. The 2 mounting holes are about 3-3/4 apart on center. The center area with the valve is about 2-1/8 in diameter. 1/2 pipe hole for gas. 1-1/4 pipe hole for the intake.
