Here is a Fairbanks Morse Type R magneto. This mag makes a very hot spark. No wear can be felt. It turns over fine. One of the mounting ears may have been ground down a bit but that will not hurt a thing. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Please note,,, there are lots of different kinds of FM Z engines! If you are not sure if this part will go on your engine please send me some pics of your engine and I will let you know. Only very minimal or no wear can be felt. Turns smoothly just as it should. Mounts with 2 holes about 3-7/8 apart on center. For Questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like. This is an extremely hard to find original fuel needle mixer or carburetor for an early Fairbanks Morse Type H hit and miss gas engine. It is in used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of except it needs a short piece of copper tube soldered to it for fuel to enter the air flow. The mounting holes are 1 1/8 inches apart on center. The 1/4 npt threads for the fuel line are in great shape. The fuel needle moves as it should. It should fit the early 2, 4, and 6hp engines and possibly other models or sizes as well so please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be sure. This Fairbanks Morse Type H fuel mixer assembly is quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is. This is an extremely hard to find original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Fairbanks Morse Jack Jr, 1hp Type H hit and miss gas engine. It is part number 15JE6 and is in used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of except the mounting holes have been enlarged which really shouldn’t be seen after it’s mounted. The mounting holes are 2 1/4 inches apart on center. The fuel needle moves as it should. It may fit other models or sizes as well so please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be sure. The choker moves as it should and may be homemade but with a little adjustment should be effective. This Fairbanks Morse Jack Jr fuel mixer assembly is quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to put on the shelf with the rest of your engine parts here it is. I think most all of my customers with a normal level of sanity are happy. I think most people would agree that I do an extremely good job of packing items so I guess it’s worth the wait.
