This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse ZC (enclosed) hit and miss gas engine. The rod is part number ZAA18B. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The wrist pin seems to have very little wear. The connecting rod bearing looks to be in excellent condition. The piston is 3 5/8 inches in diameter. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original Fairbanks Morse parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! Here is an starting torch for a old FM Y semi diesel engine. The plunger seems to to build pressure. I can hear air hissing out of the burner once I pump it up. There might be a small repair by the burner or that might have been the way it was made, I’m not sure. The tank seems really nice. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. This is an original early style fuel mixer or carburetor for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It mounts to the side of the head where the throttle shaft is in the head on the earlier style engines with two holes 1 5/8 inches apart on center so do your homework to be sure it is for your application. It is in sound condition with no cracks, breats, or repairs in the body. The fuel needle moves as it should and looks good. The fuel pump plunger is stuck. The drain/fuel selector pin is deteriorated and needs to be replaced. The threads for one fuel line have a broken off nipple that needs to be removed and the other one is very nice. With a little effort this would be a nice, usable mixer. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here is a decent one. VERY hard to find original brass body Sumter Jr rotary low tension magneto. Several applications including Fairbanks Morse, IHC, and many others. It’s in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs other than one oiler lid needing attention. It turns over smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a very hot spark that will surely run your engine if set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in great shape. It’s ready to go to work on an engine or would be a great spare on the shelf for the next time you need one as they just don’t come along very often! For your consideration is an original CRANK GUARD for a 1-1/2hp to 2hp FAIRBANKS MORSE Z Hit and Miss Stationary Gas Engine. It is in great shape and ready to use. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. This is for the 1-1/2hp to 2hp size engines NOT for the headless Z! It mounts with the main bearing bolts. The mounting spacing might be from around 7-1/4″ to 7-3/4″ apart on center. The sides that hold the mounting tabs are welded on on the inside seam. The bottom inside edge piece has been bent up. Igniter fits 3HP or 6HP Fairbanks Morse Z. Fits 3-6 hp Fairbanks Morse. Single bolt mounting with clamp (clamp is included). Cast iron painted green. Very nice condition, ready to use.
