Its about 4-1/8″ wide overall where it bolts to the cylinder, about 5-7/16″ wide on the guard at the bottom base and about 6-1/8″ wide on the extension, 5-9/16″ wide in the center, it’s just under 17-3/8 long from end to end in the center of the actual guard. Here is an original cast brass name tag for a Fairbanks Morse T and or Jack of All Traded Vertical engine. This came off of a 2hp engine. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For a FM T vertical engine, it came off a 2hp. Curved to fit a cylinder. About 5″ x 3-3/8″ The length is measured straight through not along the curve.
