Here is a rather scarce 1 1/2hp Fairbanks Morse Z with Sumter Plugoscillator ignition. Built only in 1919. Excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. New gas tank at that time. Outstanding compression and very little wear anywhere on it. We put fresh gas in the starting side and it fired right up and ran nice! Has the original oiler, pulley, muffler, and serial tag on top of the head. This is a throttle governed engine that should make a great little engine for someone. The cart it is sitting on is not included. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. Here is a nice Fairbanks Morse Type R magneto. It will fit a variety for FM Z gas engines and probably others It makes a very nice hot snapping spark! It is great looking! Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. The gear on it is 2-11/16 in diameter and has 25 teeth. That is probably for a 1-1/2hp or 2hp engine. Very hot spark that can be seen and heard. No wear can be felt, turns over smoothly. About 3-7/8 mounting pattern. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like.
