For your consideration is an Original Fairbanks Morse 3 or 6hp throttle governed carburetor. The mounting pattern is 3-1/4 spacing. This is the carburetor/mixer housing with both needle valves which turn and the line feed for the tank, both needles are spring loaded, the fuel cover which is missing the finger hold tab, the butterfly is turning as it should but needs attention to be spring loaded and the intake plate is spring loaded. The intake throat is just under 1-1/4. 1 of the mounting bolts are included with it. Both screws are present for the external needle/fuel assembly. For your consideration is an Original Fairbanks Morse 3 or 6hp throttle governed carburetor. The mounting pattern is 3-1/4 spacing. This is the carburetor/mixer housing with 2 needles that dont have the original knobs but both needles turn, the fuel cover, the butterfly and the intake plate which turns and is spring loaded like it should be. The intake choke plate is spring loaded as it should be. There is a brass drain valve on the bottom. There is a short segment of fuel line for the external tank. Its in original patina. Old Fairbanks Morse Compressor Engine for starting Large Hit Miss Engines – very rare. Original cast iron base, all in one compressor unit. When I found it the compressor had been taking off, set aside and the engine was painted and being shown by itself. Rare Fairbanks engine with 1 Solid flywheel the mates directly to compressor. Good compression, hasn’t run in years will need some tinkering / fixin – should be a good runner. AB33 Bosch Magneto – missing cover, will most likely need a tune up. Compressor has some repairs, they are done very well, you won’t see them when restored its going to need some tinkering also, but I believe it is complete except for piping and fittings. The distance between the mounting bolts is 7-3/8 on center. The raised ring on the back is about 10 in diameter on the outside edge.
