Here is a head for a 6hp IHC Famous hit and miss engine. It is a little rough around the edged but it may be better than nothing. It has a braze repair on the bottom and a very tight crack on the top. I’m sure the gasket surfaces and valve seats will need cleaned up. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. AS IS Part No. About 9-3/8 outside diameter measured at the gasket surface. The raised center area is about 5-3/4 in diamter. 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ Mounting pattern. For your consideration is an original International Harvester, IHC 3hp Vertical Famous cylinder Head for a Hit Miss Stationary Engine. The number cast into it is G1005. The water jacket is not cracked, broken or welded. The rocker tower will need repaired, the one ignitor stud is broke off, as well as 1 intake stud is broke off. This is a very hard to find original cast iron starting crank for an International Harvester Tom Thumb or 1hp Famous or Titan hit and miss type gas engine. It fits on a 1 1/8 inch crankshaft and will work to start many engines. The starting lug is in great shape. As with several of these original cranks they either don’t have a part number on them or it is disguised under the paint. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It even has some original black paint on it yet. This crank should be ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is. It would surely make starting your engine easier! This is an original cast iron sub base for a 4hp International Harvester Famous or Titan gas engine. It should fit all of the variations of the 4hp engines. It is part number G763 and is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It measures about 16 inches wide at the top and 47 1/2 inches long at the bottom and is about 7 3/4 inches tall. This sub base should be ready to be used under an engine. The pictures tell the story. These original unbroken, unrepaired sub bases are not real easy to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would be a great replacement for yours with a broken or repaired mounting foot or if you want to make your portable engine a stationary so it takes up less room. Here is an original butter churn assembly for a 1hp IHC Famous or Titan engine or a Tom Thumb. It seems to be in great shape but it is missing its babbitt bearing. I think it would be pretty easy to pour one back in, especially since its the top half and really not that critical. This is a brand new “IHC 2-1/2 HP FAMOUS” engine tag copied from an original engine. THIS IS NOT A PRINTED TAG. IT IS ETCHED AND HAS DEPTH. I make these tags myself and take great pride and care to make sure this tag has the look and the feel of an original. Happy to say that this tag was made right here in the U. I use a process very similar to the way the original tags were made. You will be hard pressed to tell the difference in my tags and an original. This tag is ready to stamp with your engines’ specific information. This tag will fit engines with mounting holes center to center distance = 3.5625. Mounting holes are not drilled but they are clearly marked by the etching process. Depth of etch for this particular tag = 0.0044″ (+/- 0.0007″). Here is an original head 2hp IHC vertical Famous hit and miss engine. It has been repaired but the repair looks really good. I think it has been brazed but I didn’t take off the primer so I really don’t know for sure. The valves look in and feel good. They will probably need lapped in or possibly the valves and seats may need recut just a little bit. That would take about 10 minutes if you have a valve machine. Here is a very nice connecting rod for a 3hp IHC Famous vertical hit and miss engine. There are no cracks, breaks, or welds in the rod. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Fits a 3hp Vertical IHC Famous hit and miss engine. 1-1/8 Wrist pin hole. The rod bearing attaches with two holes 2-3/4 apart on center. It is about 14-7/8 long from the rod bearing mounting surface to the center of the wrist oin hole. NO Cracks, Breaks, or Welds! 7-1/2 lbs actual weight before box or packing material.
