Very nice older restoration 1906 (first year) IHC 2hp vertical tank cooled Famous engine. Engine was shown a few years ago and restored several years ago. Everything seems to have been gone through and refreshed as needed. Valves/guides, pins, ignitor, etc. Everything is nice and tight as it should be and engine turns over nicely with great compression. It has most of its original plumbing on it as can be seen. Everything moves as it should and it shouldn’t take much to make noise. It has a decent homemade cooling tank on it with the fittings from the original tank. It is on a nice, heavy cart with oak rails. It has an old repair on the cylinder and head as most vertical IHC’s do but it doesn’t leak. It also has one repaired tooth on the cam gear but it was done very well and has run many hours without issue. It would make a very good show engine and has the original pulley and correct muffler on it. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Portland, IN, Coolspring PA, or Baraboo, WI, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for.
