This is an extremely hard to find original ignitor for a Field Brundage or Sattley hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is part number CC15 and fits nearly all sizes of their engines. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 3 inches apart on center. Please consult your parts book or measure your engine to be sure it is correct for your appication. It is in great used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. There is very little noticeable wear on the movable shaft, the trip finger or the points! This is a VERY nice ignitor! If you need an ignitor for your engine because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here’s your chance at a pretty nice one. There’s an awful lot of them missing! It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. Up for sale is a Bessemer 22 1/2 HP (approximately 1920) oil field engine. It is a two cycle, Hit & Miss engine with Hot Tube ignition. This engine has been restored and is in nice running condition. Has always been stored inside. It has good compression and starts fairly easily. I’ve owned this engine nearly 25 years. 4 shows the three output drip oiler for the crosshead. These kinds of oilers are hard to find. Last picture shows the original decal (rare). I won’t be able to load or haul it, although it’s easy to move from it’s location. Up for sale is an Acme / Jones 16 HP (1897) oil field engine. It is a four cycle, Hit & Miss engine with Hot Tube ignition. This engine has been mechanically restored and is in nice running condition. It has good compression and starts fairly easily. My preference was to not cosmetically restore it because it is in decent shape. It has always been stored inside. I’ve owned this engine for about 25 years. This engine was made by the Acme Sucker Rod Co. Acme started making engines in 1895 and changed the name to S. Jones shortly after 1900. This engine has Acme serial number 408. At some time during its working career, the cylinder was changed out to a new Jones cylinder. The pictures include the Acme tag, the stamped Acme serial number and the Jones tag on the cylinder. I won’t be able to load or haul it, although it’s easy to move from it’s location. I was told that this oiler was used on either Reed or Bessener Oil Field Pumps, hit and miss engines. The top wooden knob is missing pic. 5 and the toggle, open-close, switch has had its original pin replaced by a piece of wire pic. I only cleaned the name areas enough to make them readable. The sight glasses are unbroken. There are a few dents and scratches, but, for its age it is in very good condition. It is 10 1/16″ high and 5 1/2″ wide. I was told that this oiler was used on either reed or bessener oil field pumps, hit and miss engines. It is in very good condition. The two wood knobs are not chipped or cracked. The two sight glasses are intact. One of them shows some cloth ends where it was packed with a rag to keep it tight. There are several scuffs and scrapes on the body but they just add character. I only cleaned the name areas enough to make them readable. There is a small amount of oil in the reservoir. I did not try to remove it.
