KW Ignition Co, belt drive generator mag hit & miss engines and Ford model T’s

Here is a very nice and HEAVY KW Ignition Co. Model F ignition or lighting magneto. It stands 10″ tall, 8 1/2″ at widest and 6 across. It is in very good overall condition with the only real flaw I found is a small rip in the brass cover. It is quite small and will not affect the operation. I have provided a good picture of it. In the research I have done on this mag I have found that they were built between 1904 and 1913. In 1 catalog it stated that this mag was used as a replacement for the battery to power the buzz coils on the Ford model T’s. Please look at all the pictures and decide for yourself what you feel the condition is and weather you really want or need this mag.

This is a very to find large original brass oil sight gauge for a hit and miss gas engine or tractor. This style was used original on some Rumely tractors, Cushman engines, and Ford Model T’s. It is in as found condition from an old shop and has no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a very tight hairline in the glass tube which probably won’t leak or it could easily be replaced. The 1/8 npt threads are in great shape. After tube examination/possible replacement this gauge should be ready for use. It would also make a great spare on the shelf for a future project. All 4 of these coils produce a buzz. For the absolute best performance however points may need adjustment depending on application and contacts cleaned up for the absolute best results! I have a home “built” tester that I run my coils through that was built by a older gentleman that used to be a HUGE part in the model T Ford hobby. Far from perfect condition but at least they will produce a spark.

This is a very to find large original brass oil sight gauge for a hit and miss gas engine or tractor. This style was used original on some Rumely tractors, Cushman engines, and Ford Model T’s. The glass tube is a bit dirty on the inside but can easily be cleaned. After just a little cleaning this gauge should be ready for use. Here’s an set of four (4) original Ford Model T ignition coils or buzz boxes. They are fresh from a Model T collectors estate and are in good condition considering they’re about a century old! Some have minor wood loss or deterioration but nothing that takes away from their serviceability and won’t be seen when they are inside the coil box. They have been lightly cleaned and tested by a good friend of mine who is a “Model T” guy having had dozens of them over the decades. They have been tested on a flywheel type Model T coil tester and adjusted for maximum spark. They all have good spark and should be ready to run your engine if it is setup properly. The only thing that may be necessary is a light cleaning of the points as they have sat for a bit. Let the pictures be your guide. You’ll like them.
