Here is what I will describe as the best original condition 1 HP R&V (Root and Vandervoort) antique hit and miss engine that I have personally seen. It is 100% complete and all original with exception of the reproduction crank guard. There are NO repairs, brakes or welds of any kind. There is at least 50% original paint on the engine and that is being very conservative! This engine has awesome compression with no blow by and runs just as good as it looks. There are NO apologies with this one. You can mount it on a set of skids or a set of trucks if you like or put it in the back of your truck as is and take it to a show and run it all day. I just cannot emphasize enough just how nice this engine is. This is also the more desirable 1 HP with the flyball governor and does not “clunk” wile it is running.
