Henricks Friction Magneto Generator for Hit Miss Engine. Henricks Magneto & Electric Co. Formerly Henricks Novelty Co. Brass base that measures 5 7/8″ x 3 5/16″. Mounting holes are 4 1/8 apart on center. Has friction wheel with governor. Spins freely when tested on battery charger. Nice original RARE part. I apologize for any inconvenience. Here is a very nice Wizard Type B1 friction magneto. It is in great shape and appears to have been rebuilt. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Very nice original condition. Mounts with 2 holes about 4-3/4 apart on center. Very minimal to no bearing wear can be felt. Roughly About 10″ long, 5-3/4″ wide, and 7-1/2 tall. Weighs about 13-1/2 lbs before any box or packing materials. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Here is a very nice Motsinger friction generator or magneto. It is in great shape. I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery and it spun just as it should. One wire seems to have soldered back on but that will not hurt a thing. Please check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is friction type generator. This mag is meant to be used with a coil. It is not meant to be able to start an engine but is meant to take the place of the batteries once the engine is running. It in itself will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Very nice original condition. No bearing wear can be felt. Overall its about 11-1/8″ long, 10-1/2″ wide, and 6-3/8 tall. The friction wheel is about 1-7/8 in diameter. I personally hooked it up on my bench and would be glad to send a video of it working if possible through messaging.. Clutch and leather shows lots of years and wear and will need attention and work if you’re planning on using it. Base is riveted to the body of the mag and is slightly “loose fitting”. Please see pictures for the absolute best description. This magneto is to be used with a coil, it simply replaces the “battery power” once the engine has been started and running up to speed! This is a very nice original Tritt Acme flywheel driven friction drive dynamo or generator for ignition on an old flywheel type gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It turns nicely with minimal bearing wear and the governor operates as it should. It has mild wear to the friction wheel. It motors up when hooked to a battery so it should make current to run your engine. It is about 5 x 8 1/2 x 6 inches tall overall. It mounts with two slots 4 1/8 inches apart on center. It should be ready to put on your engine or on your display shelf with the rest or your hit and miss engine accessories. WIZARD Type “A” Magneto/Generator. For Hit Miss Engine. Magneto is in good condition and ready to use. BRASS face – nice original condition with patina. Tested – spun up nice when hooked up to a battery. Note: T his mag is intended to be used with a coil and will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap. Mounts with 2 holes on the base that are 4 7/8 apart on center. Has a Friction Drive Governor. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions.
