Description: Brand new fuel tank for the Fuller Johnson gas engine. We have lots of other gas tanks in stock and we can now even make custom tanks. This is a hi quality fuel tank made in the USA. It measures approximately 14 inches long, 5 inches diameter. This tank is if you have your original fittings to the engine. If you don’t and need to make your own then the other tank we have listed is the one you need. These tanks are ready to use and will certainly last a long time. We do recommend our Red Kote fuel/gas tank liner for coating the insides of the tanks prior to use. It is not required but with todays modern fuels it provides an extra level of protect for your engine and your investment. Need another fuel tank you don’t see listed? I have a nice Fuller & Johnson Model N 2.5 HP Hit and Miss engine for sale. Looks to be an older restoration job. Some wear and tear, but still nice looking. Comes mounted to a cart that is probably not original. Serial number 84385 indicates a manufacture date of 1923. Comes with starting crank. In running condition but has not been ran in several years, so I can’t guarantee it will start on the first crank. Will probably need fuel drained from the tank. All grease cups are present. I bought an oilier for the cylinder that is now shown, but which is included. Engine is in Grand Forks, ND. You will need to come pick it up or make some other arrangements. Here is a very nice Fuller & Johnson hit miss gas engine. This engine never did much work and is in excellent mechanical condition. All crankshaft bearings have lots of shims left in them. Compression is excellent, both flywheels run true and their rims are not all pitted. I don’t think this engine was ever left outside and uncovered. Has the late style fuel filler and correct muffler. Wico EK magneto is hot. The engine starts very easy and is an all day runner. There are some traces of original paint and outline of the decals under an older peeling paint job. There are no breaks, cracks or welds save for the lever on priming cup which was broken off long ago. I can bring this engine to any show I attend in North Carolina this year. This is a very nice original 2hp Fuller Johnson NB hit and miss gas engine. It is barn fresh from a Wisconsin dairy barn and has tons of old grease on it! It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than the two rivets on the crankguard. The engine sits on the original skids and factory cart. 3 of the wheels have chips on the hubs and one has an old braze repair but they all function as they should and this shouldn’t really be an issue. It turns over as it should and everything interacts as it should. It has decent compression even after sitting idle for many decades! It has a sub base under it with the gas tank in it and the gas tank looks to be in very solid shape. The engine has some original paint on it and surely lots more to be uncovered under the grease! There isn’t much wear on the engine and the bearings all have several shims in them yet. With just a little effort it should make a nice show engine. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is a pretty nice original 1 1/2hp Fuller Johnson N hit and miss gas engine. It is the industrial version with the heavier flywheels as can be seen. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It turns over as it should and everything interacts as it should. It is missing the Wico EK magneto and bracket but these are findable pieces and you may even have them in inventory. It has a sub base under it with the gas tank in it and the gas tank looks to be in very solid shape. The engine has some original paint on it and a bit more to be uncovered under the grease. There isn’t much wear on the engine and the bearings all have several shims in them yet. With just a little effort it should make a nice show engine.
