For your consideration is an original Stover Hopper Funnel for a Hit Miss Stationary Engine. The part number is 43K2S. The edge dimensions of the raised portion that sets in the hopper is about 3-7/8″ x 6″. The outer is 4-3/4″ x 6-13/16″. It’s missing both of the original cast cross bars, I don’t have them as it didn’t come with them. It’s painted red on the outside. I have never seen that feature on one of these before. It could be plugged with a 1/4 pipe plug or could be used as a fuel return on a throttle governed engine. For your consideration is what I believe to be an original Stover CT2 Cooling hopper Funnel number 43K2S for a Hit Miss Stationary Engine. This has the cast clamps #65K2 included. Its about 4-1/2 overall tall without the clamps, the center is about 3-7/8 wide by 6 long for in the hopper. And the outer lip is 4-3/4 by 6-7/8. Here is a an original funnel that would have came with an old IHC engine. If you look in some of the old manual and parts books it shows a funnel exactly like this one. The flutes allow air to pass by as you fill the tank. I’ve had one of these for years that I actually use to fill gas tanks of old engines. Check out the pictures and see if you need it.
