This is a VERY hard to find original John Deere 200 full line General Catalog. It is fresh from the estate of an old John Deere dealer and measures about 9 x 11 inches with hundreds of pages. It shows the full line of tractors and farm equipment including the Type E engine and W power units. It is in good used condition with some wear and soiling. It was damp at some point but the pages are all free with no noticeable damage and all of the information is in good, usable condition. It has the authentic old smell to it and is ready to be added to your John Deere library or display. It is a wealth of information for the John Deere collector! These original full line catalogs don’t turn up very often as so many of them lost their battle with the wood stove back in the day so don’t miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. I don’t like to use the term “rare” very often but this is a rare original sales catalog from John Deere titled “John Deere Quality Farm Equipment and How to Use It” It is likely from 1923/4 and is a full line catalog presenting in great detal all of the products they offered at the time. It measures about 9 x 12 inches and is 160 pages long. It is Series D13 and content includes the 15-27 tractor, their Model E engines, pump jacks, corn shellers, plows, potato machinery, wagons, planters, manure spreaders, listers, hay machinery, harrows, grape and berry hoe, elevators, drills, disk tiller, cultivators, corn picker, combines, cement mixer, seeders, binders, and the beet lifters. The list just goes on! It has photos of all of John Deere’s various production facilities around the country at the time. It is in good condition for it’s age with minor wear, staining and soiling and a few slight tears but nothing that takes away from the information it contains. The last 50 pages have come loose from the binding in various sized groups but they are all there and in good shape. It is HEAVILY illustrated with great detailed photos and would be a great reference piece for the John Deere or early machinery collector. It is a wealth of information and it would be a fine addition to your reference library. The pictures tell the story. This is a VERY hard to find original dealer sales manual or full line product catalog from Fairbanks Morse. It is catalog #60 from 1908 and is in good condition for it’s age with very minor wear, and soiling. It measures about 6 1/4 x 9 inches and has 656 pages! It shows everything that Fairbanks Morse offered for this time including their N and T engines in all types of configurations and setups. It also has windmills, railroad equipment, scales, dynamos, motors, steam engines, boilers, pumps, clutch pulleys, compressors, mining machinery, rock drills, and the list just doesn’t end. It is HEAVILY illustrated with great detailed photos and would be a great reference piece for the Fairbanks Morse or early machinery collector.
